Plum Blossoms by Grade 2



Second graders viewed plum blossom paintings from China.  Next they created their own compositions, and used recycled water bottles to stamp their blossoms.  




Weavings by Grade 4

Fourth graders went about and beyond on their weavings this year.  They went beyond the basics, and learned to weave blocks of color, while some students even wove in pictures and letters....









Torn Paper Ice Cream by Grade K


These torn -paper collages are inspired by the artwork of painter Wayne Thiebaud.


Kindergarten Sets

Kindergarten students worked hard creating the backdrop for their class play, "No No Titus".  
The play was a big hit!





Japanese Fish Printing by Grade 3

Third graders explored Japanese fish printing, or Gyotaku.  After pressing their image into foam, they inked up the foam and pressed two prints.  Students were so excited to peel back the foam and see their prints!
