Color-Wheel Snowflakes by Grade 3
Third graders explored complementary colors (or opposite colors): red/green, blue/orange and yellow/purple. They utilized complementary colors to create these fantastic snowflakes color-wheels.

Birch Tree Winter Landscapes by Gr. 5

Van Gogh Sunflowers by Grade 4
Fourth graders watched an informational video about the life and artwork of Van Gogh before embarking on these paintings.
They sketched a vase of sun flowers, and painted using watercolors. The finishing touch was adding lines using crayon, similar to the textured brushstrokes of Van Gogh.

Square 1 Art Fundraiser
We've successfully completed all of our artwork to use for the Square 1 Fundraiser this year. This year students have created: Painted hearts using lines by Grades K, 1 and 2. Blue Dog drawings using warm and cool colors by Grade 3, and Laurel Burch inspired cats by Grades 4 and 5.
