Sunburst Paintings by Grade 4

Fourth graders experimented with mixing colors to create tints and shades.  They mixed a new color for each section of their sunburst painting.

Popsicle Stick and Shape Houses by Gr. K

Kindergarteners used popsicle sticks and wooden shapes to construct these creative house collages.

Recycled Crayons!

Third graders dug through the art room crayon bins in search of old pieces and bits of crayons.  After the crayon pieces were peeled and collected, they were melted down into these amazing, and colorful recycled crayons.  Each third grader is taking one home and we'll have a collection to keep in the art room as well.

Multimedia Robot Collages By Grade 2

These collages were so much fun!  First, second graders brainstormed the many uses of a robot.  Then they made two sketches and chose their favorite to transform into a final collage.  Bottlecaps, foam, buttons, bubble wrap and wire were among some of the materials we used in the collage.

Painting Sets

Fourth graders have been super busy!  Every fourth grader has had a turn at painting the sets for  this year's play, "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley."
