Painted Paper Weaving by Grade 3

Third graders created two abstract paintings, and are now joining them to make one composition, using paper weaving.  Here are some students at work:

After being inspired by a picture book all about fish, kindergarten students had a try at paper weaving, and as you can see, they quickly got the hang of it.

Paper Sculpture Fish by Grade 1

We read Hooray For Fish by Lucy Cousins for inspiration for this project.  First graders learned about the many types of materials a sculpture can be made of.  They painted their fish sculptures with warm and cool colors and designs.
